This Years Theme: Liches and Labyrinths
This years commission theme is centered around a DnD style world. You can decide to have me make a new character for you or magically transport your own character into this fantasy setting.
Design a character that is registered as an Adventurer in the Grand Guild. Only members of the guild are permitted to raid, treasure hunt and explore in sanctioned guild assignments. The guild was established by the Lich Lord Vickdis as a means of keeping track of the random adventurers, keeping them from bothering innocent monsters and more importantly preventing another 50 year war.

THE BASICS ~ BUILDING A CHARACTER

Race: What is your characters race? Anything goes provided it's humanoid and intelligent.
Examples: Human, giant, halfling, gnome, elf etc.

Animal Species: (Beast Cursed Only) What animal were you cursed to look like?
See the Beast Cursed section for more information. You will retain some of your parent races
physical traits but will have an anthro appearance.

Class or Profession: If your character is an adventurer what class are they? Rogue, Warrior, Hunter, Mage etc.
If your character is a professional, what is their job? Innkeeper, Blacksmith, Herbalist, Cartographer etc.

Weapon or Tools: What are the main weapons (Class) or tools (Profession) your character uses? Sword, dagger, pick, scythe etc.
Your character will have this on their person.

Alignment: Pick an alignment. Good, Evil or Neutral (No in between). This will affect the look of your characters costume and design.

Best Stat: Pick one of 4 stats to help define your character. These stats will influence the final look of your design.

STR: Strength, defines the physical ability of your character. They are stronger than your average adventure, allowing them to hit harder and last longer in a fight.
DEX: Dexterity defines the physical agility of your character. They are quick on their feet, able to get into tight places and can dodge opponents with ease.
CHA: Charisma defines your character's ability to handle situations diplomatically or with intimidation. They are able to use words and body language to get their point across and can easily manipulate situations to their advantage.
WIS: Wisdom defines your character's knowledge and understanding of the world around them. They are the thinkers and problem solvers, looked upon to think clearly in the most stressful of situations.

References: (For Rift Walker Characters Only) Please provide your most up to date character reference. Your character may be put in a more appropriate outfit as to not stand out too much in this new world.
Companion/Mount: (For Living Legend Characters Only) Give your character a traveling companion or mount.

The Beast Cursed:
Vickdis had grown tired of the length of the ongoing war and devised a plan to bring the conflict to a resolute end. After many months of preparation the Lich laid out his reagents, spoke his incantations and cast his spell. A bolt of red energy shot into the sky quickly enveloped the world in a red haze that dissipated moments later. Had the spell fizzled he wondered. Nothing seemed to happen. The test subjects, a small collection of humans from a nearby village seemed wholly unaffected. By this point they should be mewing, braying beasts. His plan had been simple. If there were no more common races to deal with, if they were all beasts and monsters, then the war would be over and he could finally get some rest. But alas his spell seemed to have failed.
It would not be for many more months that Vickdis would see the fruits of his spell. Seemingly at random new born babes would be born as beast men. Though they would retain attributes of their parent race, they would appear as bipedal humanoid animals. There is no known cure for the Beast Cursed. Not even Vickdis can undo the spell.
Beast Cursed are anthro characters that keep some aspects of their parent race. An elves long ears and longevity, a dwarfs stature and facial hair etc.

The mortal races were vastly outnumbered and losing the war. During this time a great many things were tried to gain the upper-hand on the dark forces of the Arch Lich. One such experiment gone awry were the use of dangerous waygates. These gates were a means of opening portals into other worlds to summon powerful heroes. However this didn’t always go as planned and some of these “heroes” weren't always on board with fighting a war for strangers. The waygates proved to be unstable and eventually the magic became wildly unpredictable. Waygate portals now open randomly around the world unceremoniously dropping off strange beings from other realms. Currently there is no way to return a traveler to their home world.
Isekai is a term referring to a normal everyday character being magically transported to a fantasy world. They usually end up with some special ability or knowledge that will help them traverse this strange happenstance. Send your original character on an Isekai adventure.
