Description I decided to give Twin Peaks a chance without knowing what to expect. I was quickly drawn into something so unique and inspiring. Now I've never been so curious and invested in a show before. I've seen the first two seasons, Fire Walk with Me, and am reading the books-like The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer, Cooper's biography, and The Secret History of Twin Peaks-before I watch the third season. It is all so full of beauty, horror, emotion, and meaning that makes me wish that i could create something that could inspire the same things in others .

When I was watching it, I was surprised, and then spellbound by The Giant's arrival and all his subsequent appearences. I find Carel Struycken to be very compelling and uniquly beautiful, all of which were aided by his enigmatic and strangely benevolent performance. Now he's a muse and I've seen as much of his other work-including The Addams Family and Men in Black, neither of which i'd seen since young childhood-and cannot wait to see more of his chatacter and all the others in the latest season.

I'm still working on various traditional projects, but on a whim I started messing around with photo-editing using a screencap I took of Carel in another work of his. I can't wait to draw Twin Peaks-themed things in the future. Adding it to the pile with enthusiasm.

The title is based on the bible verse-from the book of Revelation- read by Major Briggs in Fire Walk with Me.
"And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees and the two candlesticks standing before the God of Earth. If any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth. ... And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them and kill them. ... And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth and cast it into the great winepress. And the winepress was trodden without the city even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs. And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, and seven angels. And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire, and them that had gotten the victory over the beast and over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
