great idea and a good job on the shading once again.
The shape of her head seems to be slightly off though. Her snout/nose is quite small and seems to be pointing downwards a little while the ear is quite big and almost centered on her skull.
(possibly sounds worse than it actually is)
I've learned that with this kind of "portrait" getting proportions right is much easier when you sketch the complete face first ( and sometimes even mirror/flip it during the process in case it's posed ) and then scale and position that layer on your canvas ...
I'd love to see this reworked and maybe with a slightly darker and more grubby overall look. That'd be awesome. (it allready is so pls don't get me wrong)

The commissioner is happy with the final result, but if he wants me to make some changes to it, I will. Until then it will remain as is.
I see what you're saying about the proportions of her head, but every time I tried moving things around or making the ear smaller, it looked strange. Maybe it's also partly the way i draw her? I dunno.

oh ... seems that I've totally overlooked the fact this is a commission. Same goes for my comment on the Krystal/Panther pic and the background info regarding her mother. Maybe drawing concept arts and watching a rigging tut on one monitor, browsing DA on the other plus having the Mythbusters on TV was too much for my limited multitasking capabilities
