this is really awesome! the detail is absolutely incredible! I just have one question, is their paint around her (his?) eyes? because if it isn't shouldn't the eyelashes and the eyebrows be a more similar color?

you are correct, I gave her super long dark lashes to draw attention to the eyes. eye make up seemed like the only way to have it make sense, so yes, SHE is wearing paint around the eyes.
