Description
Thersis world map with oceanic dorsals and ground , This map was generated and created throught several tools , hand drawing and manual editing . It represents a fictional Terra like planet named Thersis , after the original Indoeuropean word for Earth : Tersā from wich derive the word Thersis ,Tharsis , Terra etc ... The world was designed , planned and shaped considering realistic geological formations ,tectonic movements, volcanic activity , temperatures the sun and its influence , axial tilt , winds generation , erosion and relatively influenced climates for this world .
The idea was to recreate a similar disposition of continents separated by well tought scientifical tectonic plaques for wich you can see some oceanic dorsals .
The subequent phase was to possibly prototype a possible influence of all those conditions on the development of a humanlike intelligent life form and how could that have evolved based on the settlement of different areas according to the climates and the coditions .
