I have a question! Usually, I use the pen tool to make my line art (since I only have a mouse >.> But I love how the line thicknesses on your work are different sizes, as if you actually outlined them using a caligraphy pen. How?!
π: 0 β©: 1
N0ISEhazard In reply to Scorpion-Kiss [2009-05-19 06:23:56 +0000 UTC]
I don't use a calligraphy pen, but what I do is use the settings described in this tutorial and I used a graphics tablet. Sorry for the delayed reply. I hope that helped clarify a bit. If you don't have a graphics tablet, you can get a pretty good one for around $40. It's a worthy investment. (Ask if you'd like a link to the tablet)

[link]
This was bought as a replacement when I lost my other tablet's pen (temporarily xD). It's a little on the big side, but I think it works wonderfully.
If size is an issue, here's a smaller one that's also relatively cheap. [link] Although I don't have personal experience with it.
I'm linking you to those specific ones, because they have excellent pressure sensitivity. I'm picky like that. Don't be fooled by that Wacom nonsense. They're overpriced and these should be just as good. (Although my main love is a DELETER XP pen I've had since I was 13... but that goes for about $100. These are fine.)

Uhh I got a question for you: did you use the mouse or a touch screen to draw in your pc?
π: 0 β©: 2

LOL! Mouse, too primitive, touch screen, too fancy.
I used a graphics tablet. :']

imagine something like sheet of paper, when u are drawing on it, the same lines appears in your paint-program like Paint, Photoshop, Gimp. when u push harder, then u will have thicker lines. it's like mouse but u are using special pen.

I wish that'd you'd do a chibi tutorial, I like your style, that is unless, you already did and I'm just to lazy to go see it xD
No but really, that'd be so awesome of you, mostly because I suck at anything art relate.
Because just wanting to draw aint enough anymore

N0ISEhazard In reply to BlackWingsRnbowTips [2009-05-19 10:05:53 +0000 UTC]
I didn't make one. D: I'm too lazy to make it. (Or actually, not enough time. I'd love to explain something simple like that...)
DD: Just wanting to draw is KEY. Do art for the process, not for the product... Always.
