XD; Hah... I couldn't help it. I suddenly got the urge to make a tutorial,
so I picked the easiest one that people have asked me about, "How do you do your lineart?" and it's usually referring to my chibi drawings. (
No one cares about my regular lineart. XDDD Not that I have a secret or anything. 
) Also, I was working on this drawing for my friend, so I figured why not use it for the tutorial? =^w^= 
So~, here, I hope this answers a few questions and I hope it's helpful.

I'll probably be following this up with a tutorial on how I CG chibi drawings using the same piccu. =^,^=

I could almost even make a tutorial on how to make tutorials.

a whole year almost, jesus XD

and got like almost 3000 deviations
and like 750 journals XD

my computer wouldn't let me do that.
[i watch a LOT of people i care about. and i watch a LOT of people in general =-='']
for deviations i just go through and open the ones i want, that's what i always do, and then delete them as a whole after i've gone through all the pages.
with journals i just do that same thing. XD but i do journals by title+who their by, because i don't look at them by journal previwe. o-o'
but i don't really feel like it right now XD

It seems that you are not shaking when you draw, how do you do? Me, when I'm drawing on the comp with my tablet, I'm really shaking and you can see it on my drawing.

XD; Yes! That's why I said you should draw with quick, fluid strokes. You can't be afraid of messing up or your uncertainty with reflect in your drawing.

Omg, I love this!! It's really simple to follow.
Also, it makes me feel better about myself to know that amazing artists like yourself do their work on paper first && then scan them in. Yay! I also feel better knowing that I'm not the only person who needs to redo something 20 times before I get it right, haha.

Um, I have a question. I scanned a picture onto photoshop just like you did, and I did all the lineart, but how do I delete the sketch lines that are under the lineart?

You put the lineart and the sketch lines on separate layers, correct? And what version of Photoshop do you have?

Still, I have problems when it comes to choosing the right brush for lineart.
I use PS6 and PSP9....I haven't found a "smooth" brush, they all look too pixelized.

I have a question.
When I am making the lineart for my pictures, the black lines always look really pixelated with the paint brush tool. How do I change the settings so that they run smooth like the lines in your tutorial.

When I put the Opacity to around 30, the pen doesn't come out black anymore.
It ends up being the same kinda grey as my sketch. xD;
I'm using Open Canvas 4.

I was doing my line art on layer 1 instead of 2. @ D@;
So, that's why it was coming out all wierd, just like you said.

=T__T=;; Are you kidding me? I would never touch a CGing program without a graphics tablet! Using a mouse is so difficult... I think you could get by if you use mouse + Photoshop though. What program do you use?

the only program I have is Paint Shop Photo XI
it's very sucky.
I didn't say that your lineart sucks, I said that if I have to use a dumb mouse.
your lineart is cool! My grandma has Adobe PhotoShop in her compy, I was begging her to let me install that program to my compy........the worse thing of all....she said no.

XDD Aww~, you could always download Photoshop off the net, but it wouldn't be the same without a graphics tablet. =T__T=;; Try traditional media. =^,^= So far you seem to work well with them, and watercolors look beautiful and are the less pricy mediums in the paint world.
