By request... and because I had the images lying around from the last lightning bug girl tutorial.
As usual, feedback appreciated. I'd love to hear your own tips and tricks, as well as requests and suggestions for other tutorials. Enjoy!

This is exactly the reason that girls in Japan and China feel so much pressure to make their eyes look bigger, either with eyelid surgery or with makeup and contacts. Look at the size of the eyes of these "beautiful" or "cute" girls. It makes me sick. We need to send the message that small eyes are just as beautiful as large ones.
I, for one, am boycotting this style of art. Anyone who supports the feelings of young women should join me.

Okay. Just because of a style of art, a person shouldn't be pressured to do anything. People should know that this is FICTIONAL! I am an asian girl who is proud of it and I have small eyes. I really enjoy this kind of art and so do many others. I'm pretty sure that NO ONE enjoys their art getting bashed like that. So if you don't have anything good to say like constructive criticism at least, just don't say anything at all.

I'm surprised it took this long to get a DD. This was quite an informative and helpful tutorial for me when I was starting out, and I still use some of the techniques today. Congrats and good work.
