The amount of fights and dramas you get and witness every often from this fandom makes it more and more ridiculous.Β
Trolls, haters, bashers, complaints, rants, negativity, butthurt, disrespect, fights, wrong opinions, rabid fangirls, spammers, attention whores, wrong portrayals of characters
Same old same old ofc~
Of course it won't stop.
But
Don't you just get tired??Β
A simple word called, "chill" wouldn't simply be ever done, sadly ??

I agree with most of these. Except for "wrong opinions". Do you mean how these opinions are expressed or the opinions themselves? Because if it is the latter, people can't do more than to agree to disagree, I suppose.

Honestly, I don't think we have that bad fandom.
I mean I know it's kinda trashy and a lot of people are often overreacting and there is so much drama it could literally be a book about it but
It's not like we're the only fandom with those problems~ I'm here for more than 3 years and so far all the cp fans I "met" are really cool people.Β
But yes just chill guys and let people enjoy things. vuv

If you don't mind me asking, what exactly do you mean by "wrong portrayals of characters"? If everyone interprets the same character differently within the story's context, how is it possible that there is a "right" and "wrong" way to make fanwork?

Like for example, someone called an oc, rapist, but well in fact he's not.,

So like a depiction that was created for the sole purpose of hurting others? Like for example, if let's say I were to tell you I had a headcanon of Jason the Toymaker being a non-romantic yandere-type that goes after young females to be his friends because he believes they are easier to manipulate AND can back myself up using details from the story AND depict him that way in fanart BUT am respectful if people think differently, I don't have to worry about being attacked by the creator? Or, another example, if I were to tell you that I thought of Jeff the Killer as a homosexual (I don't, but it's an example of something that really, really concerns me) and have no proof from the story BUT still choose to depict him that way in fanart AND am respectful when others think differently, do I have to worry about getting attacked by the creator for having an alternate interpretation of the character?

Forgive me if I sound harsh, and I see where you're going with this. I can see how all three of your examples would be disrespectful and I agree for the most part. That being said, in the two examples that I described, would I need to fear being attacked by the creator(s)?

altough there are many kinds of creators. if they would let you do an au, then you can, if not, then don't. that's respecting.

Okay. Thank you. It's been something that has been bothering me for a while, since I've been seeing a lot of creators complain about fangirls all the time. That kind of stuff makes me afraid of what is and isn't allowed, since I have a tendency of interpreting characters drastically different from the people I know. Not so much on the side of what happened, but more on the why did they do it spectrum.Β
I always thought of all fanart as its own AU, as everyone has a different interpretation on what exactly happened and why. Everyone has their own idea as to what goes on inside of a character's mind. So even if you were to follow everything the creator said to the T, there are still things that would be missing because you don't know everything. I always thought the only type of non-AU thing is something that was made by the creator themselves who stated it was official.Β
