Sean Penn, you may know him for his work in I am Sam, Mystic River, 21 grams, Dead man walking...and many more.
I admire his work, and I've always wanted to draw this picture of him, but I didn't feel prepared until now. I chose this title because of his role in the movie We're no angels (with Robert De Niro). That's one of my all time fave movies, and I love his work on it.
As you know if you've followed the wip, I've loved to do this drawing, and hope you enjoy seeing it as much as I've enjoyed drawing it. This time I've mostly used circulism.

0.5mm HB and 2B mech pencils and 4B pencil.

well, the outline and the eyes are done. so definitely, the hard parts are over. i just need to spend a night at it. i will this week.

Fantastic drawing and well named. Sean Penn is definitely no angel but he is a really good moviemaker and actor. Plus he seems really down to earth too.

I loved Sean Penn in I Am Sam! That movie was so sad! He did such a great job! I actually haven't seen the movie We're no angels, but I should because I love Robert De Niro too!

Oh, I loved him in I am Sam!! I've seen it a lot of times!! it's sad but has a good ending, and he was absolutely brilliant!!!!
Oh, yes you should see it! I love it, De Niro is great, and Penn...well exellent as usual!! it's also Demi Moore, she's fine.

No worries! Oh and I was going to upload the pic I drew, but I ended up starting to label all my deviations coz I'm being a bitch now and putting my devlink of everything lol, and also just fixing stuff up like borders on a few etc!
So I will def upload the pic today! Don't mean to sound up myself but it's soooooooo good compared to all my other crappy ones! You will be impressed I hope! lol

amazing work as always, I'd love to see put more of "you" in your work. I would be anxious to see what you could come up with an original idea. With that said, you have wonderful technique and your textures are stunning. This is def. one of your best, nice job

You know, my problem is that I need to have the idea perfectly defined in my mind, I've had several ideas for drawings, but I just need to see them clearly, otherwise I start the drawing and never finish it... Also, I'd need a good camera...lol.

The hair is just practise, I had no idea how to draw hair when I started drawing portraits (not so long ago)

That's a really strong likeness. I like your gradation work, even if the scan (as always, it seems) made it look spotty.

The scan always makes it look worse than it is in reality...although my scanner works pretty well, but yes it makes it look spotty...
