Phazefive, said "i could probably enjoy this more if it were an a wall and i could see it all at one time. art is meant to be looked at as one whole piece. i've been in manny art galleries. have you ever had to look at only half a piece then the other half in two minutes. NO!"
Obviously you haven't riden the subway in a major, urban development where murals were used to decorate the linings of the walls. Because in this instance, you go for MANY *spelled correctly* minutes looking at the same picture continued for like a quarter of a mile. It's art, appreciate it as is it. Art isn't constrained to just the visual, but anything that affects the senses of it's partaker. It's stupid to knock someone else's creation because you're ass is too lazy to scroll when clearly, someone more important than you liked it and chose Wee Wee (don't hate) as the daily deviation.
I wouldn't be surprised if you were just hating for hits. It happens all the time.... jealous ones must envy.

well first off, i love confrontation.
i never really knocked the design. it is OK. i knock the size. i don't care where else it is used. when you have to scroll for a mile to enjoy, or try to enjoy it, i'm sorry you can't. i could probably enjoy this more if it were an a wall and i could see it all at one time. art is meant to be looked at as one whole piece. i've been in manny art galleries. have you ever had to look at only half a piece then the other half in two minutes. NO! i give you credit for the hard work as i do everyone.
i did say that the DD could have went somewhere else and i still stand by that. nada even said "i didn't think it would happen again"...so that means you've had more than two. where is the equality. i still wonder about that.
as to necron, kiss my ass, i am entitled to my opinion as much as you. so who is the real idiot... nada knows that there is criticicsm when you do art. he answered in the way you should. wonder what would happen if someone knocked yours? probably shoot them, you irate asshole. like you actualy know how much work he did. i bet he did more then you think he did.
nada you shouldn't have to explain any of your art i agree with that 100%. thanks for giving a comment anyway.
i am no great designer, never claimed to be but i am entitled to say what i want as anyone else is. i do comment on many pieces around here and many other communities. accept it and live a long prosperous life, or don't and die young...

errh.... how am I suppose to view this? buy ten more monitors and place them around my room? you got an even bigger one?! I'll see if I can get a print-out of it. not sure if it will justify it though. I wonder how you manged to work with such a dimension.

Im not going to vote on this, because I cant decide on a rating for it.
I like it. The picture is great - the whole extremely-large aspect makes you think and take in each picture as you scroll over.... the only thing is... how the hell is this "art poetry"? I dont really see a connection to anything on this, let alone a meaning.
I dont know - maybe I just dont have any eye for it.

'Come on, why does everyone kiss up to the DD. This isn't all that great, I have seen plenty of stuff around that smokes this piece. I also believe I see a Darth Vader in this, Copyrights, hope the picture is yours, some friend in a costume but even then Darth Vader has a copyright and who chose this piece...ahhhh....mateo...hmmm. Aaaah, but maybe it isn't Darth, looks like it though.
About the size, who in their right fucking mind would make something this big??? Answer that. I sure couldn't fit it on my screen in any matter that would be cool. This baby wouldn't even fit on my 32" television. Come on everyone be honest about some of the stuff you look at.'
Ohhh...kay. where to start? first off, every single solitary image in this was taken by me, for me, including the textures. Second, about the size...I did it because i wanted to express myself in a way that I PERSONALLY have never seen before. Not every piece of digital artwork has to conform to some 1600x1200 or lower boundary. I'll go no further because the rebuttal has been made for me already. Lastly for phil, it has meaning all right, i put more thought and emotion into this than anything else. The only thing is, i almost never explain my own work. I leave it up to the viewer to try and figure it out. Maybe if you look at the first image in the series it'll help. If not, oh well.

I am also going to go against the grain on this one, not to simply oppose, but if anyone wants to flame me that's fine.
I'm not sure I undesrtand why so many pixels were used for this. I have NO problem whatsoever with an image larger than my monitor, but if a work of art is going to lend itself such magnitude, I'd hope to take away a little more meaning than I do from this. I wondered for a long time what the role of the face in the center is, and how the stuff at the extremeties relates. Do they represent his thoughts? ... could you offer some more explanation nada? I looked on covenant and didn't find one.
Don't get me wrong, I don't demand that ever piece of art have some 'meaning' which needs a verbose explanation to be appreciated. I like trendy, abstract stuff too. But if that's the only goal for this, why make it so big? Pretty shapes and colors could fit easily on one screen. From this, I get the impression that the goal was to make something big first and something good second.
This next question is REALLY hard for me to write because I know I don't amount to jack squat in the world of art, but I have criticisms on the design too. I'm not fond of how monochrome it is, and I don't like the mirror-imaged bus floor on the right. To me this has the feel like "I didn't know how to work with the diverging lines of the bus floor as I went from left to right, so I just flipped the image and put it back in."
I'm sorry to be so negative on something everyone else likes so much, a DD for crying out loud. I'm sure by now you've learned to handle criticism, and I hope that it shows how much thought I put into this. I'm going to go find ten nice things to say now so I feel a little better about myself. Also, my opinion could easily be raised if I heard an explanation of the intent. Best wishes.

The part that kinda looks like white fire is really the only part of this that I like. Not that I hate it.....it's incredible because of the size and the blending. I just don't like it all that much. But I guess its also hard to judge what it really looks like because of all the scrolling you have to do to see it. Maybe if it was hanging on my wall, my opinion would be different Great work none the less...
