I did this image to represent my little experience with Viral Encephalitus which put me in the hospital for two months. =[ Anyway, it basically represents all the dreams and such that I experienced while coming out of the coma. It's not completely how I wanted it, but I'll work on fine-tuning the piece later. I did a seperate image displaying the full poem if you're interested:[link]
Edit: Ok, I changed a few things (text and made it darker).

This is absolutely stunning. The lighting, the blending, the colors...everything is done amazingly and without flaw. Don't change anything . There's honestly not one negative thing I can say about this piece...this is one piece of artwork that I truly think is perfect.

This is truly astounding, Eric. It's an amazing experience you have been through, and equally so, that you could bring it to my screen, show me a touch of what it felt like to be there and return.
The 'driven' way in which you created this image is wonderful. It seems to be almost frantic, as if you wish to recreate the memory before your conscious memory loses any of what it can remember now.
I read the poem, the two images and the poem are certainly of monumental importance to your personal life, and I thank you so much for sharing this phenomenal experience through your art with me.
