Description
This is the full poem that appears in my Lost Reality image. I wrote this while in the hospital doing rehabilitation after I came down with Viral Encephalitus (potentionally life-threatening disease that attacks the brain). The poem is depicting the dreams I had and how I was percieving everything while coming out of my coma.Related content

I read and re-read this poem, Eric, because I was so intrigued by the truth of it and how things that you were experiencing during this coma could have been triggered by the reality of strangers and tubes and machines and the drone of the TV, changing light, and sounds your subconscious registered and turned into dreams.
This is really so excellent. I wonder if you look at the image or re-read the words and remember again something you'd forgotten to say.
This poem seems created in that same unabandoned spirit with which you created the image, sort of frantic and motivated by some internal force to recreate that experience, see the reality of it, before it vanishes, in time, to the subconscious mind again.
This is a phenomenal experience you had. I am sorry you were so close to death in this illness, but I am so glad you possess the ability to share what you remember of that terrible time with others. Amazing!
