I've always found the concept of contrasts and 陰/陽 (Yin/Yang) to really help in elaborating and developing artwork concepts, and suffice to say this is one of the most creative takes on Yin-Yang, complete with gorgeous characters! Here goes...

First off, Yin-chan. I personally remember your "frustration" on drawing lovely females, but your art-style is anything but such frustration. She is very elegant, with flowing rich, wavy hair, and firm, well-toned forms (In particular her sharp clavicle, knees & upper parts of her arms ), reflecting a healthy quality. Her expression is one of a charming naivete, adding an innocent flavour amongst the hauntingly austere, which is amplified with her unique dress styling; Classical white drapery meets sliding off-shoulder torn edgy casual which brings out & complements aforementioned healthy forms. Simply excellent! *Gives her a huggie*

Next is Yang-kun. He bears characteristics of a vampire-styled characterization, although his smirk hints a impish yet sweet whim. His Alternative-based hairstyle is sharp, and further adds a slick feel to his character alongside the gothic suit ensemble. Drapery for the tails is sharply torn and reflects a more tumultuous quality while the ribbon contrasts with Yin-esque wavy grace. This overall, edgy yet playful styling and demeanour perfectly contrasts Yin-chan while hinting a affective air. Lovely~

Further attention also should be mentioned in the character & styling design, and how its' overall layout/composition perfectly opposes while borrows (In their small hair streak & half-divided outfit layers), a perfect working of the Yin/Yang concept. This is all realized and topped with your crisp linework, expressive art-style (Really love their expressions and eyes~) and lovely colour tones, slick in outline with wholesome texture, and in tandem with linework, adding depth where necessary. I personally have a small gripe with the very simple background, still it may be intentional and fits well with the minimalist approach & concept of this art here

This is a bold step with your art-style and creativity, and while such concepts usually call for lush exuberance & technique, the balanced mix of depth and minimal profundity still make for a very brilliant piece & theory. Thank you very much, dunno how you'll top this but I learned a lot and gots a stellar Yin-Yang and a lovely OC couple in one! Today is a stellar day!

I love this! Only one thing, the black half represents femininity, and the white one represents the man, so, it'd look better if you switched their roles. But it's awesome anyway! Great color skills!

You know what's funny? The day you submited this, I had a presentation in school for yin-yang. I could of asked you to borrow the pic, and credit of coarse, for my class, but I was too late. And who knows if you would have allowed, but, hahaha, it's still funny. xD You read my mind. 8D
