For who wanted me to design two characters that would represent Yin and Yang~Waah I've never been so nervous about a commission before ;A;

Actually, in Chinese "Yin" is Female and it's the Black side...
"Yang" is Male and it's the White side....
The "Yin" side is black with the white dot because it represents the Moon, which is a feminine symbol...
And, if you're learning Yin-Yang meditation (qi-gung) you learn Yin as the darker/colder/slower energy, which sinks, or is heavier... The male Yang energy is the warm energy, which is faster, warmer/hotter, lighter, brighter energy... It's how to learn to use your own electrical energy flow, and u can even learn to generate an electrical circuit, and illuminate a light-bulb in your hands...
It's also why men sweat when they sleep and become very hot, and women have cold feet & hands when they sleep...

yes I know xD several people have told me that already. But I just went with whatever the commissioner was ok with, and- well... I think most people don't know about that, and the more common way to think would be that the female would represent good and white and the male black and evil xD

This is very well done,though I probably would've done the same thing despite on how each of the gender color of Yin-Yang is informed to be.As most people view white as purity and a more feminine brightness.Whereas black is dark and a more manly shade (since white and black are no longer considered as colors).
