And here's Uru's grandmother, Zawati's mom, Sarai. Like Zawati, she's a background character, but she and her daughter both make a promise to Mohatu that will change Uru and Ahadi's lives forever. It's obvious that she's had a hard life and she's battle-hardened, but Sarai also has a soft side and wants the best for her pride and family. Fanart is always welcome, but please don't borrow or otherwise use my design without permission. Thank you.

Awesome character design! If only she knew what would happen after her granddaughter married Ahadi and the unhappiness she experienced as well as teh consequences that will come after it (Scar).

In every story, there's always a background character I like more than anyone else (even the main characters). And in this story, Sarai is that character. There's something about her... maybe it's the fact that she's battle-scarred, but she just gives off this vibe of awesomeness.

Thanks, Rinja! For some reason, I thought you did. She's probably one of my most complex characters I've created as far as design is concerned. I wanted her to look like nothing could move her and she can't be taken down without a fight, but not have her be over-the-top in details.
