Hello there!
I have been asked several times how I added patterns to my art, so I decided I would make a tutorial for it. The process itself is very simple and many of you may know about it already, but if anything in this tutorial helps somehow, then that is great.
This tutorial covers:
the basics of creating patterns from an image
how to apply patterns
creating clipping masks
managing patterns
fading patterns
graduating pattern colours

what an amazing tutorial, thanks a lot! btw, tell me, is it just me? when i look at patterns like these, where i have dots close to each other, darker than the background, they flash in my eyes and my eyes feel like burning, and sometimes when the pattern is 'heavy' with the contrast and in certain size and spaces, my eyes 'explode' literally, last time it happned when i felt sharp pain while looking at them, some veins actually popped in my eyeballs ._. (it was when i was looking at high resolution screentones, and zooming them in, at osme point they were in certain size that was the most painful, thus causing the veins to pop. ;_; )
