Description The thing about chi lins is that I always thought they had just one horn. But most of the pictures I found had them with two horns. So I guess this could be a chi lin or a dragon as you can't see the body. XD Trying a new sculpting material with these new masks, and I'm liking it. This one has a piece of abalone in the center there.

This mask is for sale for $60

It seems to depend on the Qilin how many horns it has. If I remember correctly (and man, I wish I could remember my sources for you), the two separate genders of Qilin were called Qi and Lin, and such separate forms generally have the two horns. But when they are represented as one and as a balance of male and female aspects, they just have one horn.

Or so I have heard. :B Pretty cool mask regardless, and I especially like the copper swirls on the horns for some reason.

I like how the brow looks like a cloud.

Do you just have fancy masquerade parties at your house? Or maybe tea parties, and you make everyone that comes wear a mask?! = D

Ha ha! I've always wanted to host one, but I move far too often. I mostly make these to sell as well as for my own amusement and gifts for friends and family.
