Koko is a slender Caeli who's fur pattern perfectly embodies the seashore nest she grew up in. Her ocean color palette and her fur pattern make her practically impossible to see when swimming through the clear waters around the nest. Only her sand colored head and tails may be seen gliding along the shore. Koko has a round, feminine face with big eyes. Undoubtably the most notable trait however are the scales on the bridge of her nose, her forearms and hind legs.

Biography:
Kolika was born in the Seashore-Nest on a sunny summer day. Her loving parents admired her beautiful face and stunning fur colors when suddenly they fell silent. Something wasn't right. The face of their long awaited child had some sort of... rash. The bridge of her nose was covered in hard, thick, white plates. Her legs too! Quickly they turned to the Herbalists for help, who soon had diagnosed her. Kolika had scales. A rare, completely harmless, but untreatable mutation. "Harmless" was enough for her father to stop worrying about it, but Koko's mother just couldn't stop worrying and kept on bringing her to the Herbalists throughout her childhood. Just to be sure, nothing dangerous would come of her... condition.
Kolika lived a peaceful and bountiful childhood. Though she was shy, she would play lots by herself or even with other children occasionally, though many would make fun of her or be scared of her "illness" being contatious. This combined with her frequent trips to the Herbalists made Koko feel very self concious, and beauty would become a focus in her mind. She is very pretty, if only she could be pretty enough so people wouldn't notice her scales, maybe she could live a normal life. So she likes to adorn herself with long, flowy fabrics, sometimes in an attempt to cover her scales. Still, she did her best to hide her worries and often looks happy and energetic from the outside. But most of the time she keeps to herself and often leaves the nest to fly around above the golden meadows.
As she grew older, Kolika decided her Nickname "Koko" would suit her better, and started introducing herself that way. She was also around the age where she needed to choose a rank. Having spent a lot of her childhood with the Herbalists, people who not only were nice to her, but also understand the nature of her scales, she decides to become a planter. This way, she could continue flying around the golden meadows in search of herbs, and maybe, she had a tiny hope of finding a cure for her mutation. Her small hands were also perfect for the job, as she skillfully creates medicine and gently handles her patients.
Koko is now 55, and though she tries not to show it, the lack of a partner deeply worries her. In her mind, no-one would date a mutant like her. As pretty as she tries to be, all people will ever see are the scales. This is a source of great anxiety to her.

Relations
Keani (Childhood Friend):
Koko had a hard time finding friends, especially during childhood. Most children would be unsure about her scales, and many parents felt unsafe letting their kids play with her. But not Keani. He didn't care too much and his laid-back mother didn't either. So they quickly became close friends. They love leaving the nest and playing around at the cliffs. Swimming, Flying, Climbing, whatever they feel like. Though this led to Koko's mother becoming wary of Keani. Koko would constantly come back with (truly minor) injuries, a nightmare for her overprotective mom. As Koko grew into her rebellious phase, Keani's friendship would become a tension point. As he tried his absolute best to keep both her and her mother happy, but failing at the impossible task since their expectations of him were the opposites of one another. Still their friendship holds strong and even as adults they regularly leave the nest for some athletic activities. Recently, after being confronted by Keani with his feelings, a young romance has begun to flower.

Nerine (Friend):
Nerine and Koko are two fashion loving girlies. They love hanging out together, going shopping and talking about boys. Together they bond over their fangirling about Eris. They have beauty sleepovers together and even made matching friendship bracelets. Here Koko can live out her feminine side which she rarely shows around Keani or Muehrin. She takes Nerines opinion very serious and you can see how close their bond is in how much their fashion senses have influenced each other.

Muehrin (Friend):
Koko and Muehrin first met when Muehrin came to Koko for a wound he got during smithing. At first they didn't talk too much, both being shy and having had bad experiences in the past. But as soon as Koko found out about Muehrin's star nest jewelery, she was hooked. She often visits his little shop for the newest fashion which is also most converstation's topic. Though as they are both rather quiet, they enjoy a peaceful and kind friendship. Taking quiet walks on the beach, rather than the extreme cliff jumping with Keani.

Rhema (friendly Neighbor):
Koko quickly felt comfortable at Rhema's warm and welcoming shop. Feeling the need to escape her mother, she often visits the Granny to have a good excuse to leave the nest. She regularly helps her collect shells for new necklaces (which she then also likes to buy) or do other chores for her. Plus she can't complain at the added bonus of gratitude cookies.

Crag (Aquaintance):
Koko met Crag one day while flying around the golden meadows. As soon as she saw a Caeli with the same mutation as her, she just HAD to talk to them. While berading him with questions, Crag felt pretty overwhelmed as people usually avoid him. She still visits him from time to time to talk about their condition and possible cures, meaning that she is doing most of the talking.

Eris (Idol):
Eris is everything Koko strives to be. Beautiful, fashionable and confident. She loves looking at her newest styles and shopping in her store.
