Background: Tripto was actually born in Star Nest. They were a funny lil thing, always running around with other caeli children and exploring the intricate caves of the nest, getting in and out of the mines only to return home with their coat stained grey. However, when Tripto was around 16, their mother got terribly sick; They were scared, seeing their mum lying on the bed looking weak and pale, always coughing and not eating enough- Tripto feared they would lose her. Their father blamed the nest, said it was the fumes coming from the mines that were making her lungs weak, that were making her sick. Tripto felt helpless, they weren't sure what to do- they were merely a child. They spent their days keeping their mother company, bringing her bioluminescent berries and fungi in order for her to "heal quickly".
                    She didn't exactly get better, not for another two years that is. When Tripto was 18, their father decided they needed to move. He talked about this new nest, one next to the ocean that was fresh and clean and that he was certain would make his wife better. There was nothing Tripto could do, they didn't exactly want to leave but they wanted their mum to get better so they conceded- plus they were a little child, it wasn't like they had that much of a choice. So off they went, venturing into the world and leaving Star Nest behind. It took them almost two weeks to get to Seashore; Lucky they were to have a caravan at hand, otherwise it would've been so much longer.
                    Tripto might have been unhappy with leaving their home nest but, upon arriving to what they would soon call their new home, they were in love. Everything was enchanting and the smells, so fresh and clean; the sound of the ocean was something Tripto had never heard or even seen before, everything was just so different from the smokes they had grown accustomed to, the tangy scent of burning lava rivers now replaced with something sweet and lovely. Star Nest would always have a special place in Tripto's heart but they were certain they would never leave Seashore. Ever.
                    Anyway, Tripto's father was right, his mother did get better upon moving away. She was back to what she used to be, strong and lovely and healthy and she soon fond work amongst the farmers in the nest. Although she still has a cough that sometimes worries Tripto a little. Their dad decided to be a fisherman, said it would be easier to obtain food and a good work for someone who used to be a miner. Tripto is happy now, they love going up to the fields and just collecting all types of different flowers; They're happy and so is their family and that's pretty much all that matters to them.
As they grew older, the sound of their mum's cough was ingrained in their brain; a cough that was becoming more concerning throughout the years, heavier, raspier. Tripto was sure they could help her somehow, they were certain the plants they'd pick up from the meadows and brew into soothing teas helped but they needed to learn more, understand more of their healing properties. That's when they decided to become a herbalist. So they studied hard, learnt everything they could about all sorts of plants around Seashore, travelled to other nests to learn about the flora there and bring it back to Sea to use in their medicine. As they initiated their career, they took customers pro-bono, not accepting a single coin for their services; but eventually they got better, built a name, made enough coin to buy themself a house where they could both live and build their practise. They still do pro-bono sometimes, especially on the older caeli but they do gotta put food on the table somehow. As for their mother - that's a story for another time.

Personality: ▲ Hard-working | ▲ Compassionate | ⌘ Polite |  ⌘ Playful | ▼ Overly Humble | ▼Argumentative Tripto's a very playful caeli, they're always up for a good laugh and game which makes them very good with children. However, they know when it's time to get serious and that life can't be all play - they work hard for their goals, always pushing themself to get better and learn more.
            Tripto's extremely compassionate, and will go out of their way to help someone in need - be it by healing an open wound or leaning a shoulder when you need a good cry. They can easily empathise with other caelis' causes, and although sometimes they don't have an advice to give, they always have a cuddle to spare. Though because they've been taken advantage of in their youth, they're a little more careful when putting another caeli's need over their own, they're more on guard when doing it lest they be taken advantage of again - they've come to be able to stand their ground, even if it can lead to arguments breaking out. When tensions are high, Tripto can become quite argumentative.
              Tripto's parents always ingrained good manners of them, every time they as so much as scrunched their nose at some stranger their mum would be on top of them, lecturing them non-stop. So you can always expect them to be polite upon first meeting.
              This also ties into the fact that Tripto doesn't really talk about their achievements because they don't want to make others feel bad, meaning that they end up being stupidly humble, never bragging about anything - they more often than not downplay their efforts entirely.
Relationships:
              Ø Bruinnen [Lover] - Tripto's one true love. They simply adore Bruinnen and will go to the ends of the Earth and back for him. He understand Bruinnen's struggles within himself and is always available to lend a shoulder or just simply cuddle him until he's not feeling as fragile, as broken.
            Ø Aster [Childhood Friend] - Tripto's childhood friend from back when they lived in Star Nest. When they first met as kids, they got along like a house on fire and their favourite past-time was exploring the intricate caves of the nest- which neither their families appreciated since they would go home smelling like sulfur and completely covered in dust from head to toe. Still, it was the highlight of Tripto's day and every day they were eager to go and meet Aster, find out what kind of adventure they would get up to that day. Aster always had an idea in mind and Tripto was always more than eager to follow through - even if they were dangerous and reckless like pranking the big old caelis down by the lava rivers. Aster was one of the reasons Tripto was so unhappy with moving away, they didn't want to part with their best friend. But they did end up leaving and they didn't set eyes on Aster for years and years until one day, by mere coincidence, they met again. Tripto never thought they would ever see Aster again like- ever. But here Aster was, completely lost in one of the caves of Seashore (which were by far much simpler than those in Star). After having their incredibly cliché movie moment of running to each other and rolling around in the grass upon realising they knew each other, they became, once again, inseparable. Or as inseparable as two young adults who worked could be. Tripto loves spending time with Aster, even if they teases them countless times about their crush on Bruinnen. But Tripto doesn't mind.
            Ø Roxy - [Friend] Roxy was the first friend Tripto made after moving to Seashore. There weren't many children around the nest when they arrived so meeting Roxy felt really good, especially since Tripto was still sad and upset about leaving Aster behind. Roxy and Tripto quickly became close friends and would spend their days playing in the sea and rolling around on the grass; Tripto taught Roxy all about plants and, in turn, Roxy taught Tripto how to swim since they had never done it before and were quite anxious to try it out. To this day, Tripto still loves spending time with Roxy as she is fun to be around and always has something to talk about.
            Ø Yihalee - [Friend..?] Bumped into each other in the meadows and quickly became friends after that. Tripto is constantly complimenting Hal's fur markings because "they totally look like plants".
            Ø Rhema - [Friend] There's not much to say about Tripto's relationship with Rhema. She's an old caeli that moved from Northern to Seashore due to... bone pain? Tripto never quite understood. But they love helping her out when they can and making all sorts of medicines to ease her pains. She also tends to give him free jelly which they LOVE.
          Ø Koko - [mentee] Tripto took Koko under their wing when she started her journey as a healer, teaching her all they knew and even letting her practise at their workplace - letting her take care of the less serious injuries under their watchful eye and letting her assist on the more serious ones. Tripto adores Koko's attitude and they have to admit that it's always fun to help her dealing with romance-problems; Tripto cares a great deal for Koko.
