Background: Tabitha grew up in a stifling household. As the middle child of an old traditional family, she was never able to stand up to her family's demands- the expectations that were placed upon her. Her childhood was marked by constant criticism and comparison to her younger sister, who was favoured by her parents - the so-called "Golden Child" of the family. Despite her efforts to meet their expectations, she was always made to feel inadequate, never good enough for them no matter how hard she tried - she was always too meek in the eyes of their father and too unlady-like in the eyes of their mother.
                      Her only solace was her brother Bruinnen, whom she loved dearly - however, they too suffered at the hands of their parents and was equally criticized for the way they acted - their parents expected Bru to act like a proper "man of the house" and Tabitha could see that those expectations were slowly killing them and she knew that staying would lead to their destruction so, in the quiet of the night when they could finally be themselves away from their parents' watchful eyes, she pushed them to leave - “I fear for you, Bru. You need to get out of here and live your life, away from our parents’ chains. If any of us can do it, it’s you." However, Bruinnen refused to leave her to fend for herself in that household so, she made them a promise. She promised them they'd leave at the same time, start their respective lives away from their parents' clutches. She went as far as to apply for a job as an ice picker and even started looking at the shabby abandoned huts littered between the ice pickings and the nest; watching her do so made Bruinnen finally take the plunge and leave.
                    Tabitha, however, did not leave right away. She stayed at the house for a while still, a fear gripping at her chest preventing her from actually taking that last step. Her parents' treatment of her became harsher after her brother left; their words cutting deeper than before. She endured it for a while but upon getting word back from the job she applied for, something in her clicked into place. She gripped the parchment with shaking hands as she finally threw caution to the wind and broke the chain that had been placed around her neck.
                    She got in contact with the old caeli who owned the small hut close to the lake, used up the little savings she had to buy it and, in the dead of the night when everyone was sleeping, she packed everything she owned and fled, leaving behind the suffocating house she had grown up in.

                    She never saw her parents again nor has she reunited with her brother since, but she holds onto the hope that Bru has found happiness and peace wherever they are.
                    In her secluded new life, Tabitha is finally living for herself. Apart from her job, she helps caelis who have lost their way in the ourskirts of the nest; gives them shelter and food for as long as it takes them to regain their strength. Her life is peaceful and she likes it that way.

                  Despite the challenges she's faced, Tabitha is extremely resourceful and finds a way to survive on her own terms - a prime example is when she first moved into the little shabby hut she now lives in. She was able to fix the hut by herself, transforming it into a cozy litle sanctuary.

                  She keeps finding ways to survive despite living isolated on the outskirts of the nest. Even in isolation, Tabitha's empathetic and compassionate nature is revealed through her willingness to help others. Despite the risks, she takes in strangers who are lost in the northern landscapes, providing them shelter and warmth. Although helping strangers was inevitable (as she couldn't bring herself to leave them out in the cold, fending for their lives), she's been extremely cautious with it, putting in failsafes needed to ensure her safety while extending kindness to those in need.

                Despite her size, Tabitha is rather meek in nature - she's gentle and slow to anger and, back when she lived with her parents, she was extremely submissive, never really speaking her mind even about things that negatively affected her. She's not as submissive now because she doesn't let others get that close to her emotionally - she's quiet and not exactly talkative. She does know when to offer advice or a kind word, but she remains a rather reserved character, keeping her cards close to her chest.

                Due to constantly being put down by her parents throughout her childhood and constantly compared to her younger sister, Tabitha grapples with deep-seated insecurities about her self-worth and capabilities.

Relationships:
               Ø Bruinnen [Older Brother] - Tabitha has always adored Bruinnen. She was the one who pushed Bru to leave when they were younger, scared that staying longer under their parents' thumbs would break them. She pushed Bru even if it hurt watching them leave. She doesn't know for sure where Bru ran off to, she knows they always dreamed of seeing the ocean, of the warm sun shining on their fur - but she not that well-versed in other nests or the whole of Dravisdor to pinpoint where they went to. She just hopes they're happy and thriving, healing from the hurts their parents' put them both through the way she's healing.
