Original characters. It's a scene from my story. My brother kept on telling me to make him cry... but I didn't think it suited his character. The girl in his arms is his fiance. But he wanted to marry her for political reasons...*_*

Also, about the comment that came with the picture~ i think you were doing the best thing in not having him cry. Dry sorrow i think is almost more powerful in ways than tears flowing, and also.. if it was for political reasons that he was to marry her, this is definitely more fitting >_
As always, a wonderful city / metallic setting.. i think your worlds are so awesome.. it's like, the FF7 / Chrono Cross enigmatic setting.. just really awe-triggering. And the hair. SO stylized. SO FREAKING AWESOME. AND AND AND THANK YOU for the progress pictures!! I love seeing it in progress, seeing how it came to be. It was really interesting to see the sketch and a partway picture~ so there are different layersss *_* ahaha WOW too complicated for ein to ever attempt XD (oekaki only has two layers) XD

Ahhh.. this picture is so /tight/... it's like, hard to pick details to emphasize because i think it's all really strong together... I can't just say "the hair is awesome", because.. then the hair is the relection too which is awesome.. it's like one big chain to me that way.. this pic has a really nice balance or connection with everything in it... i can't isolate any one thing >_< so awesome *o*
but i will say, the setting.. is .. perfect

this is really sad... actually a friend of mine is sik... and this is really sad... It is a perfect work, beautiful colours and composition... I like really much this... but it is so sad... I know that this is what you want tell to the people with this picture but for me this is a terrible period... and this is exactly as i fell myself... I can't do anything for this friend of mine... I can only "hold in the rain"... thank you for your art... I'm sad but it is fair (and this isn't due to you!) and your picture is really ok... but it make me think... this picture touch me and this also is fair...

*shuddering gasp* That's so sad! And, dare I say, beautiful? ;w; It reminds me of the movie, "Grave of the Fireflies" by Hiyao Miyazaki. Omgosh so sad ;__; This is too lovely though. The picture looks so so so real with the lighting and shading and lovely choice of colors; then you see the reflection, so shiny and beautiful, complementing to dull blood. It almost balances the sadness and the pretty colors of the reflection so that the picture is more melancholy than sad. *bites lip* I worship you.

I love the sad atmosphere here, it really shines through with the colours you've chosen. The bloody tears are..er..kinda bit much..but works well for the pic. I'm loving the depth you've placed in the pic, such wonderful painterly colouring. The falling rain enhances the atmosphere even more and its a nice touch to the pic. The refelction in thwater just makes this pic even more realistic in the sense that something actually happened.
The quote really got to me and helped to place the right sort of mood for the pic.
