I finally had my dreams come true when I met my idol Heather Langenkamp this past weekend at Days Of The Dead in Indianapolis! She is an absolute sweetheart! I was honored to spend a lot of my weekend with her. I love you Heather!!!I love my Nancy pajamas! They took me forever to put together but I'm so pleased with the results as was Heather

Thank you so much! I worked extremely hard on them, lost many nights of sleep worrying they wouldn't be good enough. I hope Heather really loved them, she seemed to. She is absolutely beyond wonderful. Better in person than I could have ever before imagined.

OMG, did you sew it yourself? You're so talented! The effect is just like taken straight from the movie. Heather must be a great person... it's so nice to see her smiling with you cosplaying her role

I didn't sew it myself, but searching for the proper pieces without having to sew them, plus finding the watch, making the band, finding the slippers, and getting the embroidery done was a lot of work.

Actually, I meant her entire fanbase! (I read in EW that her documentary, I am Nancy, was about her trying to find her own fans, so I was wondering...) But I don't think I've ever heard of "Team Nancy." I know I probably should have, but I just can't seem to remember if I have. Could you explain, please?

You know, I'm not totally sure. She recognizes she has a lot of recognition now but I hope she also sees how much Nancy means to so many people. When I have spoken to her during a radio interview as well as at Days Of The Dead,I tried telling her about all of us. I hope she understands the points I was trying to get across to her. She's very very humble and I know that Robert's fanbase is obviously huge but now I'm really hoping the extent of love that people feel for her. After bringing Nancy into the light she's opened everyone's eyes to Nancy's importance which has given Nancy fans the opportunity to rise out of "the woodwork". So I guess my point is that yes, she does have a lot more fans and it excites her, I just hope she knows there are a lot of people who have loved her undoubtedly before I AM NANCY.
Team Nancy is actually the title of 5 women on Twitter who discovered one another after the release of I AM NANCY. These women love all things Nancy and have made quite an impression with Heather and Arlene to the point where they as other fans not only use the title #TeamNancy to describe both the women and even the Nancy fan base. To be honest, she was just as excited to meet me as I was to meet her! She said things to me that I could never have even dreamed she would say to me! I was so honored! I absolutely LOVE HER! You should celebrate her birthday with me on July 17th
