Un personaje original en el que estuve pensando desde hace mucho tiempo (creo que 300 y Beowulf influyeron bastante). Valgraf Ironchest, guerrero-oso escandinavo, hijo de Barald Unbreakable. En su mundo de origen, comparte las tradiciones de su pueblo de probar su valor en el combate, y partir en busca de honor y gloria. No hay mucho más que contar, sólo que he quedado muy contento con este dibujo

An OC I was thinking about long time ago (maybe 300 and Beowulf were a strong influence for me). Valgraf Ironchest, Scandinavian bear-warrior, son of Barald Unbreakable. In his world of origin, he shares his people´s traditions about proving his courage in fight, and departing in search of honor and glory. No much to say, except I´m pretty happy with this drawing

This is an awesome drawing! Love the pose, and the detail (and shading) on the armor and the axe!
And, it reminds me of Iorek Byrnison, in Philip Pullman's trilogy His Dark Materials. Which is a big compliment!

...seriously though. I really like it, he's like...I sincerely hope to see some kind of adventure on his part. Like, his ship gets lost, he shipwrecks on a tiny arctic island and has to battle the angry dragon living there to escape with his life (and dragon meat is good eating and he is HUNGRY). Kickass!

In fact, in his origin world, he fought bravely against the trolls, the main enemy of his people. It´s pretty inspired by Beowulf, I must confess. I´ll submit soon a fight between Valgraf and one of the trolls, I promise
