I’m fairly new to the Photoshop scene, actually about two weeks now. So I’m simply learning the ins and outs space themed art and Photoshop in general.I read many tutorials to end of with this piece as I was mostly experimenting with what I had recently learned. To my surprise it turned out relatively well, with a few imperfections here and there though. I could not go back and repair them mostly due to bad file management. Something I still have to work on.
A special thanks to Naithin’s Nebula tutorial for getting me started into this field. As well as sirgerg’s star field and planet tutorials.

I think this is gorgeous! The planet is detailed just right. It really draws the most attention to the nebula, making it look as if you're in orbit of the planet looking out at the nebula instead of like you're coming up to the planet. Makes you think about how far away the nebula is more than how close the planet is and that's a great effect.

This is a great start. However, I think you could have added a little bit more color into it. You're off to a great start, I dont even think I could do this.

It looks good, I think you could make it look better is you made a few extra nebula layers, maybe some shades of red oy orange, and overylayed them on the yellow nebula, to give it some depth.
