Tumblr reblog | Pixiv postI mean MOTHER series. Though a friend and I both agree that Life Ruiner is a good alternative title~
I chose this scene for some more personal reasons. Also I'm seriously really fucking lazy and didn't wanna paint anymore than this. However, I did in fact sketch up a couple of other things in celebration of this anniversary, I may post those sketches to Pixiv later~
This took all day, but I think my hard work paid off

As for the chromatic aberration, I'd love to explain how, but to achieve such effects, I'm not entirely sure if you can do it with SAI, but it's basically fucking around with blur filters and other color channel filters :"D

However, I'm sure you can find another way to do it :"D

Cool! I've just started playing Mother 1 on my Wii U with its arrival on the Virtual Console.
Now I understand how much this scene is important for the game's legacy. Everything begun with this lampΒ Β
I'm a relative new fan, but since I started playing EarthBound last year I can say it's one of the best series in the world!Β

I actually started playing like 4-5 years ago. Though I stopped for a while. Not sure why.
But yes, I was going through some really hard times, and this game was what I played and it made me so happy
I got dragged back into this fandom after I thought I was safe from it. but nah. LET THEM TAKE ME TO MOMTHER HELL!!
Though I've known of this series' existence for a while, I've still only finished Earthbound :'D Almost finished M3 (lost my phone so I can't finish it yet) and am currently playing through Mother 1 (I got half way through the last time)
