Description
This is a very large download! If you're on a slower connection, be warned.Reference: [link]
Believe it or not, this tutorial was a lot longer. I had to kinda smoosh it all into one tutorial so that it wouldn't be even larger than it is right now. If you have any questions regarding this tutorial, feel free to leave me a note. I really hope it is helpful to all of you.

I forgot to mention to use smudge tool for the blending brush effect with the scatter setting (preferably round brush), try diff strength for diff intensity of effect...

I know I'm stupid, but... how would you go about 'blending' on Photoshop?
*dies in embarrassment for asking such a stupid question*

where is the "Just Add Water" in Painter? Is it in Painter Essentials, or just normal Painter?

ahhh I see. Cos the only ones i have are "smudge" and "smear." Hopefully I haven't already downloaded IX...
lovely tutorial by the way... I need simple things. Most tutorials on painting start out with a complete lineart, which is something I don't have, whereas your tutorial is a simple (and beautifully executed!!!) eye, which I can actually halfway-decently draw, lol.
if I ever finish, I will send you a link to the picture =3

In Painter I used the oil brushes. The digital ones, not the traditional ones. Round camel hair and detail brushes work well.
