A rarity in RAC weapon design, the Archangel Rig's railgun was designed with only the Archangel Rig in mind. Its chamber and rails have been designed to fire miniaturized explosives of varying functions, fed from a 4 shot capacity magazine. Standard plasma explosives, to airburst, to more specialized munitions like tracking beacons are all available. Being a railgun, users have speculated as to what bits of scrap metal could be used as projectiles, though this course of action is not advised. The power charge level for the weapon is adjustable to allow munitions to be fired at higher or lower velocity depending on the situation.
