Radish (c) NanoBananaRadish is NOT a Sans nor a Gaster type. ^_^
Edit Note: The tips of Rad's fingers have short points.
Shortly after posting Banana, my brain wandered to his relationships he would have had at the care home he was raised in. Given how sensitive he is to the emotions of others, I figured an older kid would kind of take Ban under his wing. It was actually during a conversation with my mom (we were taking about random associations) and I brought up the idea of a friend to her. "Radishes" was all she said and everything fell into place.
It's taken me a while to finalize his design, but I'm very pleased with how he came out. He forcibly tags along with Shay and Ban as they travel (once they come back for some of Ban's things) since he doesn't trust Ban to be safe without him. He wears his hat all of the time, even when sleeping, as it was an important hand-made gift from Banana. He has a tooth on the left side of his mouth (his left) that pokes out a bit (It grew in strangely and never got fixed. He has no interest in getting it fixed either.).
I'm pretty sure he won't be nearly as popular as Ban (that cuteness level is hard to compete with after all) but he has been officially added to my universe. ^_^
Important Edit: While Rad is legally an adult, he is not interested in being with anyone romantically or otherwise. He's demiromantic and demisexual (meaning he has to know someone really well before he'll be attracted to them) and views Ban as his best friend and brother but nothing more. Please don't ship him with anyone ;v; Thank you.

Well, a skeleton monster is a skeleton monster, so in my head they don't really have a set gender. They choose to identify as one or the other (or neither!). In Radish's case, he chose to identify as female as a child but as he grew up, he changed his mind. So he is male by choice.

The care home they live at tends to name the children after the color of their magic. Banana actually smells a bit like banana nut muffins, which influenced the worker that was in charge of naming him. Radish on the other hand was originally named Persimmon, which is more of an orange color and he originally identified as a female. As he grew up, his magic color actually shifted more to the pink/purple range and his gender preference shifted towards male. So Persimmon became Radish, but he kept his first name as a second name. >v<
Also, I think I tend to be hungry when I create characters. o_O

Well, keep in mind Ban is highly sensitive to others' emotions. Shay's been teaching him how to calm the air around him, but it's still a work in progress.
Likely Ban understands why Rad is so agitated with her and makes efforts to keep himself between the two of them xD
