Description
Just a quick look at how I handle drawing skelehands. ^_^This tutorial assumes you kinda already know how to draw normal fleshy hands, but it should still be fairly clear... I think. >v>'

That's what I was doing for a while as well, but I like the visual "feel" of it when I divide out the palm, especially with the little gaps. It just appeals to me in a weird way xD

Oh this is perfect for where I am now! I'm trying to change the way I'm drawing skele hands to be more like THIS than the more 'fleshy' shape i've been drawing for ages. Thank you for this tutorial ^^ I shall most definitely use it!

I'm glad I could help!
The way I draw them is still pretty similar to fleshy hands, the major differences being the shape of the base of the thumb and the extra lines separating the bones in the palm. I did tryΒ to do more realistic skeleton hands way back when, but I'm a lazy banana at heart. xD

Right? x_x
The wrist bones are just all jammed together. That's why I draw skeleton wrists as just a rectangle xD Far from accurate, but it saves me a headache lol

hmm yeah ^^ I was drawing skeletal hands like this (Painfell Papyrus - Infant ) for a short while and reeeaallly hated the way they looked so i tried to make it better but I get bouts of being really tired/lazy so they ended up like these hands...Β Pesty Quadtopus Β ...eugh... buuut I gotta say today i was quite pleased with this hand Bluff Ship - Pride 2019 Β (the one in the middle getting ready to hold BBSans).... though I'm not sure if I've found a method that isn't too exhausting yet. My style's changing all the time -_-*

I understand the pain. -_-
It took me soooo long to develop something I would consider as a style and even then things are constantly changing bit by bit.
But it's awesome you can track the changes like that! It definitely looks like you're getting a better handle on it >v>
Hehe, but seriously, don't worry if things keep changing. It's more important to find what feels like you. Style is something that will come naturally eventually.
