From 2006. A study of anatomy.Pencil on large sketch paper.
So, funny story with this one. Originally, it was on a white background, but after turning the assignment in, the background was vandalized with crayons and colored pencils. My professor took me aside to ask about it (thinking IΒ had done it) but I hadn't. I "fixed" it by cutting away the background and mounting the image on some black card stock. I'm stillΒ annoyed that someone would do that, but I guess it actually worked out in the end.
Well, I guess it wasn't a funny story, but it was a story.

I've had people make off with my sketchbooks before. Was pretty dumb of them though since they tried to sell it and all the drawings had my signatures all over them >v>'
I never got the sketchbooks back, but they couldn't make any money off of them lol

I think someone got seriously jelly on your awesome work! I remember in middle school there was a piece I was really proud of and everyone's work was put on this board in class so everyone could see them. The next day I saw someone put a big pencil mark across it that was definitely not by accident as it was pressed in so hard that it left an indent. I tried to erase it but being it was pressing in so hard and it was right across the middle you could still see it. At least you were able to save it!

Ouch, yeah definitely jealous.
It wasn't with this one, but back when I was first learning to draw, I used to hang my drawings up on the fridge. There was another couple of kids that lived with us at the time and they would take red pens and draw all over them >_> The one that stopped me from continuing to post my drawings up was they added some... uh... blood, dripping from her uh... bits. x_x
Sometimes people suck. But now that I'm older, I know there are more awesome people that those that do stuff like that.
