I love reading this comic. I always did wonder what happened to them before the campaigns XD.
I love how you keep the comic so busy that they don't have time to even introduce each other, and how I haven't seen any of their names pop up yet. I can imagine that must be difficult to do, but I love how you pull it off and save the introducing for the elevator in Dead Center. Silly detail to notice, I know, but it's one of my favorite parts XD.
I also loved Ellis's Keith story a little ways back. Perfect timing, and I love how it led to the accident. Poor Rochelle XD.
And Nick made me laugh. "EVAC, EVAC, EVAC, EVAC, EVAC, EVAC, EVAC..."

Yessss! It's a major part of this whole comic run, so I'm glad you noticed. :3 I'm dead-set on keeping this as true to the game as possible. I've spent time at the beginning of Dead Center, just looking at everyone with each character to find out how they refer to each other before then. Then playing for 20mins before remembering what I was doing in the first place. Ellis does call Coach, Coach, but I figure they're both local and he was probably his coach at school.
OH MAN, I was so happy to do a Keith story, it fit so perfectly there. I love how Ellis believes them all and recites them word for word too. Brilliant memory, or what? Can't top the actual Keith stories though.
Nick's supposed to learn trust through being stuck with them, so he's still looking out for himself at this point. It's good he's an uncaring a$$hat too, cos it makes him an easy target for jokes. ^^

The effort you put into this is really admirable ;u;. It's always great to find someone who can put some much time and strength into their fanart. It tells people you really care about it, and that's something some fanworks just kind of lack, you know?
Ah, you even did research! My goodness, you really are determined, and it definitely shows! I'm not exactly sure why all the Survivors call him Coach even before he introduces himself... Well, his shirt is supposed to be a "uniform" from the school he works at, so maybe they just assume he's a coach XD? I never could figure that out, but I am a little sad that no one ever gives him a nickname like everyone else. I wouldn't mind hearing someone call him an "old fart" every once in awhile XD.
Well, if Keith said he did it because he was triple-dog-dared, you just HAVE to believe him. NOBODY lies about triple-dog-dares! -brick'd-
Ellis is such a dork, but he really is awesome. I love all the Survivors, in some way, even the girls, and that surprised me, because as much as I hate saying this, I tend to dislike female characters. Not because they're girls, of course, it's just... Movies and games don't seem to have any idea how to make an interesting female character. They're either whiny, annoying or useless, and it bugs me. I-I'unno, I digress XD.
Oh, of course! All up until now he's relied on himself, and now he's stuck with a bunch of strangers in some hillbilly town. I love it, that you're paying so much attention to it all. Makes the comic all the more fun, plus, it makes sense! It's like, "Heyyy, I know these people 8D!" Like I said, some fanworks are just... Not even trying. Who are these people and why do they look like someone I know e__e XD?
