I love this, but I saw this as a huge painting in an art shop in the UK in a Rich area going for hundreds of pounds..!

I see this is a visual representation of irrationally stupid people. Rather than learning how to solve the problem at hand, they would rather take the easier path, that is far more time consuming. And then at the end, if the problem ever arises again, they have to repeat the lengthy process, rather than just using the knowledge they gained from the first time, by taking the time to create a solution, to solve the problem easily from then on.

I've never solved a Rubik cube before (never tried) but I hear they are rather hard to solve, in this case painting the sides is maybe the quicker and easier solution to getting all the sides the same colour (if not the correct way to do it!).

Confession time. I once smashed a persistently unsolved rubik cube against the wall and put it back together again.

We had a Rubik cube at my grandma's that had the squares as stickers. That was an easy solution.

I think that's the only solution. I've been tempted to peel off the coloured stickers, but a Rubick's cube looks much cooler unsolved anyway. Cool drawing! You're really good!

You shouldn't make accusations like that so easily. I always try to be original in my work, I always work on my own ideas and I'm proud of them.
In any case, it is possible that two people come up with the same idea when working on popular subjects like the rubik cube. If that's the case, please link me to the other image so everyone can see what are you relaying to make such accusations and decide by themselves what to think.

If nobody is looking, this is a perfectly legitimate way to solve a rubik's cube.

lost-angel-ms [2012-12-12 05:13:31 +0000 UTC]

I know a guy who can solve any standard Rubik's cube in less than 20 seconds flat-

...Wait for it.

-With one hand. (GASP!)

Seriously though, it was pretty cool to watch.

Lissy-Goode In reply to lost-angel-ms [2012-12-12 09:41:13 +0000 UTC]

Tape it and put it on YouTube.

Or, color one square one of the other colors and see if they figure it out.

lost-angel-ms In reply to Lissy-Goode [2012-12-12 20:35:28 +0000 UTC]

Lol, I wish I could. That was back in high school when Rubik's came back "in-style" for like a month. And I think someone did give him a switched one once. It took him less than a minute to figure out what they did, but that was probably due to the giggles more than anything else.

It's a great idea of a T-shirt, Naolito.

Although if you were to actually solve the Rubik's Cube, what you have here is a bad example of solving the cube(I'm not bashing on the idea; I'm just putting my perspective on it).
