My guess is Asian Water Dragon

The only species remotely similar to the portrayed animal.

Lizards

There are thousands of different species of lizards and they can be found almost everywhere worldwide. At the Park we have just a few species, from one of the only two venomous species of lizards the Beaded Lizard, to Rhinoceros Iguana, Asian Water Dragon and the smaller Leopard Gecko.

Thanks for checking it out. Pretty sure they have more than the few they actually listed. I know they had Green Tree Monitors too, 'cos they're on of my favourites. The Asian Water Dragon seems to have an area of more pronounced and whiter scales under its chin and down the neck. Also my guy here seems to be lacking a crest. Don't know whether I've only hit pictures of males and this could be a female, but will check it out. Might give them a call and ask for a list of species they have there. Thanks again though, could well be

If you have other pictures, you can see there is no crest, well..

These places are sadly notorious about not updating the species.. tell me about it..

I did like 2000 animal pics to fill up a website and I often had to check on Lizards and birds, so force of habit sorry...

A wonderful picture..

Yeah, pretty certain there is no crest, will check my other photos. Just trawlled throught their A-Z too to no avail. Ah well, excuse to go spend another day there, I'm thinking Mid-week this time, so fewer people hopefully.

Haha, please don't apologise, I really appreciate the time ya put in

Thanks
