You just choose the right point of view to make this picture wonderful...
We feel like a bird of prey, perched on a high tree.

Great light and clouds on the Sneffels! Damnit, I knew I should have gotten up that morning. I was sick in a hotel room in Ouray.

gorgeous shot. great timing and composition. i have recently started shooting landscapes and have run into a few problems, and it looks like you may be dealing with the some of the same. it looks obvious that you shot this in the morning or evening light -evening would be my guess- and when shooting at these hours i typically find a lot of weak, red light. i am wondering what filters would come in handy here, because, as exhibited in your shot, a filter to reduce the red light in the bottom half of the picture and to draw out the yellow light would prove to be a significant change. but, like i said, im not sure exactly how to compensate for the weak, red light of morning and dusk shots.
good work, though.

Wonderful light and color. The brooding mountains in the background just add to this great composition.

Ah I love fall, best time of the year! Everything is so pretty, the tree right outside my window is exactly the same yellow as the ones in your picture :3
Though my window view isn't nearly as beautiful as this picture X3
