The Bear Lake area of Rocky Mountain National Park offers stunning views from almost any vantage point. The Aspen trees were just beginning to turn that classic fall yellow during my visit to the park.Canon 5D. 24-105 L. 3GHS GND filter. Circ Polarizer.

I think it is, you got a close up version of this scene, looks like yours was in spring with all that snow left. Great shot too btw. I have decided I have to live close to big mountains wherever I end up. SLC works pretty well for that now, although CO seems like a great place too.

Yes, it was a few years ago in mid-May. I'm liking Colorado more and more, but it's a bit expensive... I'm leaning towards Montana... LOL Time will tell...
