Description
Another Red Castle image. The sun was setting quickly here and I knew I needed that light in my foreground. I was running through the marshy basin as the sun faded below the horizon trying to find a spot where the river lined up towards Red Castle. I found this spot with little time to spare and got a couple of quick shots off before the foreground was in shadow and turned dull. The difference in the photos taken with sun and without is huge.Canon 5D. 24-105mm. Circ Polarizer. 3SSGND filter.
Uinta Wilderness, Utah.

Wow. I have never seen or heard of this. I am going to have to make it there, without question, when I get back. Amazing place -- great capture of it, as well.

For a landscape photo this is just so alive and interesting. the colours really pop, the depth really takes you all the way in the pic and the detail keeps you busy...
Yup, feel very good about this pic, well done!

One of the most beautiful scenes in Utah I've come across both on picture and in the field. Well done.

Nice composition with the "S" curve of the stream leading the eye to the distant subject.
