Description
The sculpting water of this stream moves silently through the deep fissure in a never ending cascade. This is a rare location in which the relentless flow of time is so easily translated into a physical form.Zion National Park back country, UT.

I swear I thought this was a painting at first. This shot is very surreal. Great job!

that is a very special photo, i believe. i think the yellow leaves are very important to it, and the curve in something otherwise quite made out of straight lines. and yes, the glassy appearance of the rock. i have never seen anything like this shot. it is extremely aesthetic.

Absolutely stunning. A very unusual shot and I love the juxtaposition of the fluid water in the fissure with the leaves in the standing water which look almost frozen in clear ice.

Looks good to me, Wayson. Although I'm not really sure how you could mess this one up. I must admit though, that I am a little partial to the shots of this with a bit of a cobalt/blue color in the water. Did you have to desaturate it to look like this or did your camera not pick up any blue?

Thanks Chris, my camera didn't pick up any blue here, I don't know if the lighting that day provided any. How did your shots here turn out? (I'm guessing very similar...)

I have always loved shots like this. I like that you threw in a curve of the water here.
