The Subway feature in Zion National Park is hard to describe. This was my second trip here and my goal for the day was to try to convey as much as possible what its like to experience it.FACEBOOK page

Looks like an amazing place. I've been to Zion a few times and haven't heard of this spot. Now I can't decide if I should do the technical canyoneering route to this spot with a point and shoot waterproof or if I should do the hike in that lets me stay dry and take my DSLR.

Like a setting for a movie! Ah if only I could get out that way, there's so much of this country I've not seen. Love the angle here, don't want to misstep on that path. Beautiful scene.

This is my favorite canyon to hike. Excellent photo. I even remember this actual spot since we used the slope like a waterslide into the pool on the right.

I've never seen or heard of this place and I've been to zion
many times.. what a cool spot.. Is it a big hike to get
to this spot? Looks like a set from some scifi. movie.

It is a VERY cool spot. Its about 3.5 miles one way, so not an easy hike, especially w a backpack full of photography gear. Its a lot of hopping up and over rocks, jumping the river, scrambling, so its a fun but exhausting hike. Well worth it when you see the payoff at the end.

Really nice color and detail. I like the person you included for perspective. It seems like most people go to great lengths to leave them out but works with this tunnel vision image.

Zion is such a great place. I missed this cave when I was there and I am kicking myself for it now.

The Subway has an open roof, not a cave, if you get back to Zion I highly recommend this one, it's a great hike too.

This is one place I must visit when I get to Zion...The figure adds some perspective to the landscape, smaller than I imagined. Great shot.
