Wow, that is an awesome image! The only way I could ever get that close to a bear would be if there was a wall or fence between us. A beautiful animal, and I like the way it contrasts the snow and the environment.

Ah so this is the Grizzly you spoke of in your journal. What a majestic fellow. I love this shot, the bear of course but also the tones of the plants and the crisp white snow that add to enhance the beauty of the image wonderfully.

I love grizzly bears, I just love them.

If this is from your eyes, I can't imagine what Thomas, you're idol, has shot. What a beautiful animal. Were they really as social as it seems? Usually bears here on the east coast are pretty shy, they flee usually before you actually notice their presence.

So listen, you shot this with a 420mm focal length. That puts this Grizzly at , what, about 75 ft? Were you in the truck when you shot this!?
