Description
To purchase this image as an exclusive limited edition print please visit my website @ WWW.NATEZEMAN.COMSo I got to this lake a little later than I wanted to... Just as the sun was setting. I looked ahead and saw a couple standing right near where I wanted to take my photo. Even from where I was standing I could tell that it was a guy about to propose to his girlfriend. Not wanting to disturb them I went to the other side of the lake hoping I'd find another angle to shoot. The sunset came and went and I didn't find a good spot to capture it. A few minutes later though, after the sun had set ...the sky lit up bright pink for just a few minutes. Kinda funny because I really like this shot and I definitely wouldn't have gotten it under normal circumstances. Aftwerwards I congratulated the newly-engaged couple and they had me take a couple pictures of them.

Interesting how things sometimes just work out. I wish that couple the best of luck, and congratulate you on this lovely shot.

Beautiful! I find that the best sunset photos often come as much as a half hour after the sun is actually out of view.

Ironic, isn't it, when a point and shoot becomes harder to operate than a fancy pants SLR
