A full double rainbow apprears in the sky as a storm moves over the Eastern Plains of Colorado. Upon closer inspection, you can see a white barn and farmhouse that adds a sense of scale to this amazing scene.

yeah i would have liked to, but it was pouring rain like ive never seen and lightning all around me when i took this so it would have been a nightmare to try a pano. It was hard enough to wipe the lens and shoot a picture quick enough that it wasn't covered in water. haha

I love how the fish eye efect makes it look somehow abstract with the thin layer of bright yellow grass. Made me think of an eye at first. I've always wondered why the"inside" of a rainbow appears so much lighter to the eye...
