That's truly "outrageous"! I love that you nailed the haircut from the show better than anyone else. The extra detail you added to the character is very good. I wish the show had a touch of your style/detail--they need your shading. Especially the eyes, because I feel they needed more detail more than anything else. Sometimes you can get away with less, like she looked cute all over but the eyes were pretty boring. They should remake this show (and keep all the 80's and positive Jem vibes) and have you help inspire the art!!! Also, I never really thought about it that way the comments on the pic.

Does anyone know if James is even still alive?
His website (aka Ceral:Geek.com) is coming up as a corrupted website on my antivirus.
Also, he doesn't apparently answer e-mails and has been away from his DeviantArt for YEARS!

That is an awesome painting. Two thumbs and two big toes up.
I remember Jem and the Rockstars from the 80's even though I was just a kid. Then again I remember Mario, GI Joe, Sonic SatAm, and the original Ninja Turtles (and their live action counterparts).
And now I have Aqua's Back to the 80's stuck in my head again. XD

This painting is beautiful! Is it real paint or digital? I can't really tell because it looks so glossy and clean.
I wasn't exactly a Jem child. I think I was too little to remember but my sister was really into it. I've seen some episodes recently and kind of wish it was part of my childhood. Whatevs, I had a lot of great shows to watch.
