Decided not to ink it in the end, cause i'm quite fond of the pencils, and i'm terrible at inking anyways.Anywho, here we are. Yes, I've drawn this before...But I've never coloured it myself, so I figured 'hey, why not'.
I'm really quite proud of it, so I hope you like it!

Awesome comic strip of the iconic scene from the 1986 TF Movie. That pretty much describes what Prime would have been thinking when that scene took place. Tremendous job.

A good first attempt at colouring it blends in well with your drawings. I like this version you have created it gives good memories of remenscencing about the characters who brought G1 the greatest personalities there was before and still after. Well done.

Just...so freaking beautiful. This scene was the pinnicale of the movie, Optimus and Megatron, their final bout. Despite his wounds, Optimus would not let Megatron walk away to continue his savagery on the Eaon Cybertron, anywhere or anyone again. The scene of Optimus striking Megatron down to me will always be a scene that even if other aspects of the movie didn't age well, that battle, that scene will always be immortal.
Bravo, bravo!!
On a side note I find myself lamenting the writers didn't think to have Optimus use his energon-axe as he swiped at Megs, brutal but would be fitting.

I always did like this scene. It shows so well how strong willed and steadfast Optimus is in his convictions and beliefs. He would fight to the bitter end, no matter how badly damaged he was, and he would not stop even as he was dying.
You did a great job with this, and I love the inner dialogue you added to the scene. It's very true to character for Optimus. Good work on this.

Looks great Nate, maybe the ground and walls in panel 1 need nome more shading to help with the perspective.
So, in the end you didn't submitted it to Mosaic, eh?
If you are still interested in let us use it for Lost Seasons, just let me know; we may change the dialogues, but the art fits our idea for that story I mentioned.

Thanks man, yeah i'll see if I can upload the textless version shortly. I'm not great at storytelling really, nor lettering. You'd only need a quick glance at my webcomic to see that, hahahaha!
As for the other page, nah, I'm done with that. That's part of the reason why I drew the scene again this time...I wanted to do better.

the drawing and colouring is pretty damn good ^^ the only thing i would say is the comic strip itself, especially the words, like how there placed etc. but thats a minor thing in comparison to what u have already mastered
