You have a lot of imagination, it is very impressive the way you mix up many features of different creatures (of course that what concept art is all about... So stupid...). Still, you are very good at it. Your gallery proves it.

Yeah, it was an artistic decision. I could have worked out the leg joints but it would have lost the feminine lines, so I went with what you see.

I must say, this is definitely frightening. I mean, not only do I hate spiders, but spider-people is miles beyond the line that I dare not cross. Excellent form and anatomy. I'd love to see this in full color, rendered in a video game perhaps...

Great, great design! I love how you make the anatomy seem so.. well, natural. Like there was actually a creature like this out there. I especially like the shading on her "stinger" and her legs.

You know, these creature concepts remind me of the concept art from UFO: Aftermath and some of the art in Marvel's production of Stephen King's Dark Tower. Really nice work.
The spider abdomen protruding from her back gave me goosebumps. Just imagining it wobbling as she walks, the two spinnerets twitching from time to time, is pretty damn creepy.
