Description
The last scene of "Transformers the Movie". Rodimus Prime gives his end of movie speech but then you see the head of Unicron in orbit around Cybertron. A reminder of the devastation that this monster planet has caused to the Autobot's home world. Very cool ending! My son, who is 4, has been watching this Movie (again and again). I still own it on video. It was one of my favorite movies. I still know all the lines by heart. Some day I have to buy it on DVD because the vid that I have is likely older than some of you DA viewers. Anyways great movie and fun times passing it on to my boy.

I remember when it came out on VHS tape and my mom had to buy another tape to replace our original. Β Eventually, I bought the DVD and it has been part of my video library since then.

Lovely picture. . .
Somehow reminds me of the TF War for Cybertron game.
I can also recall seemingly all the dialogue from that movie. I notice people rarely mention how every line from that film seems absolutely perfect. I always thought so anyway.
Your image is very moody, with it's mix of dark and orange hues, giving it a sunset feel to it.
The sun has set for Unicron. . .
Has it set on the war for Cybertron?
Thank You for Reading.

I hope Unicron makes an appearance in the live-action films.
It would take great care to bring a concept like him to the big screen. I know Orson Welles is dead so it's not unreasonable to not have him do the voice, but we should try to get a voice that was as deep and booming as his was. James Earl Jones perhaps?

I grew up with this movie and know it line for line, as well. If it wasn't for this movie, the old He-Man cartoon and The Real Ghostbusters, my childhood would have been empty. I can hear the drums kicking in on the hair metal Transformers theme as I write this. Good stuff, sir!

The DVD is worth it. I had my old clamshell vhs for forever, but the new DVD is pretty gorgeous. The thing to remember is that while the first disc is 16x9, it's actually cropped to fit, which a lot of theater animation is, however, the second disc has the 4x3 on it, which is what you see on the VHS and is the entire frame of animation. You don't really lose that much in the cropping since it was meant to do that, and the picture quality is wicked. Totally one of the best movies ever.

As everything about greatness of the floating Unicron's head was said, I'd like to say: great job over Cybertron there. You've really made it a planet, with visible atmosphere, living (in Transformers' meaning of life), not only random globe bouncing around in da space.
Awesome! And thanks for reminding me about movie, I definitely have to watch it.

This is such a creepy picture but that is a compliment. You drew this effect well. And I thought it was sort of a reminder that Unicron wasn't really done with them yet.
