Aww, this is adorable! I had to comment on this one .
I would really like to see this in color, since this looks like it's only a sketch. The ladybug's expression is great, and I love the overly-exaggerate largeness of its eyes.
I really would love to see a colored version, and what you would do with the background. Oh the possibilities .

Might color it when I get my Bamboo Tablet this weekend. It would be great practice.

I hear the tablets are much easier to use! The result should be good .

Now this is cute (though sad).
You could possibly touch up a few of the smudge marks using GIMP if you want to. Making the nose a bit more defined would help out too.
His middle arm on the left is kinda smudged into his leg, making them look a bit connected. You could either try to make them more defined or you could move the upper left arm a bit to give room to move the middle arm out. Now the problem you might run into if you do attempt that with pencil and eraser is some heavy smudging (assuming you didn't use a regular pen, I can't quite tell for sure).
The most important part is the expression, which you did a good job on. People recognizes faces first and they tell a lot of information about what's going on in the picture. Body language does too but its noticed in the background behind the face.

Thanks, might one day fix it up in GIMP but for now...
The arms are very deformed as are the antenna, probably because they were added onto the face. You should see the page in my sketch book that I drew that on, covered in expressions with huge eyes. I did use a pen, but at that point it was almost out of ink.

I thought that the darkness of the strokes was too consistent for a pencil. The antenna aren't too bad except both stalks are unequal at the tips.

Thanks, it was just a quick doodle I made when the waitress at a restaurant said they didn't have any fries.

Thanks, but I am never happy with my work. Most of the time I never finish my drawings and other times I always think I could have done better. To be perfectly honest I should probably start practice more, my teacher said I could be really good if I just sit down and draw for a few minutes everyday.
