For Sale - - - - Stomper mk-1, as new, fsh, property refurb forces reluctant sale.......heheheh
Well here it is basically finished from earlier posts, added aircon unit above door, tree behind fence, drainpipe, made the pathway from seperate tiles and changed textures, some really rusty barrels, and a puddle here and there, hope you guys like it, enjoy!!!!

It does look a little fake like around the tree and the fence but goddamit dude, Nothing else gives it away. Heck someone might propose a purchase of that stomper. Wonder if it does annoying teachers' cars...

thx for the comment man, the lighting is all done from one skylight using a hdri projection map, and as for IK's, look in the help files in max, there are some great little tutorials on them...

man, that is one kickass stomper i could never think of something like that... 
only i spotted some minors: the hoses which go from the upper part of the legs to the lower part are a bit low res 
but i dont want to whine too much, its cool, looks deadly but why on earth did you put it on a parking lot ^^
i have a project just like that, its a bit old and actually too complicated but [link] if youre interested
btw , the blur is all photoshop.. never heard of DOF back then

cheers man glad you like, the hoses just ended up like that when i xref'd the model into the scene, not sure why, originally they were smooth, as you can see from the earlier wip's, but not quite sure where you are coming from with the upper parts of the legs being verticle messy????

the notches that represent the pivot points of the legs (where the yellow covers on top of the legs are) drop a shadow which is a bit polygony, dont know how to explain properly 
its nothing big, just catched my eye

It's rare I comment on people's work, but this is much deserving. You commented on my work and although that isn't why I am returning the favor, I genuinely like your work here. I especially like the think how the interior view inside of the pit looks. In a first person perspective of course, but that also takes rendering a much larger environment/skyline. Anyways, very nice work, and I'm going to fav this and put you on watch.

It RULEZ. The model of the Stomper is so original and cool as I have told you before, and now that awesome texturing also steals the show! The "legs" of the stomper look REAL , I really respect you for that ! its awesome. And the scene its very detailed, it has the feeling of a photograph.
