Description This is actually an older piece I did late in 2005. It was for a class I was taking, and yes there was a photo used for reference. If anyone is interested where to find the reference image let me know (it's from an awesome anatomy book).

This was done entirely with graphite on an 18"x24" sheet of paper.

Oh, thank you! Anatomy really isn't my forte. u_u I always have to change a little bit here and little bit there when everything is finished, because man, my anatomy sucks. x_x But I'm trying to improve, doodling bodies everytime.

good work, the back of the hand and the neck/ear/hairline areas are terrific.

Thanks! I've never been very good with hands, so I decided to focus on one with this piece, and the small details with the neck/ear/hairline were really hard, which surprised me. I'm glad you think it turned out well!
