Description Hi, I only had time for a short jaunt outside this morning. I found this one as I was looking for ducks along the open water, of the river bend marsh.
 I like how it just has that Bad Boy look.... definitely not the "Poster Boy" for the Blue bird of happiness!   enjoy!

I checked out your macro shot of the seed head.. wonderful job. what lens did you use? I shoot an "L"series 100mm canon. I love this lens.

it was just my substitute cheep digital camera which i used...but i might get a cannon camera soon and go for something like your lens....i did use nikon camera....do have a few lenses which i used with that camera before it stopped performing at its best!nothing less than 100mm lens tho when i get back to using either nikon or a try with cannon...have you always gone for cannon??

Yes I have... it's expensive, but the pic quality and lenses are fantastic!

Hi Candace! I think I was interfering with it's feeding spot. It would fly off and look for bugs away's off and then come back, look in my direction and fly off again.I think it was saying ..hey buddy move on will ya...

 I saw a couple of Wood ducks this morning. they were way off in the open water. I should have all the marsh open by next weekend!
